Amanda

Amanda Slugoski MA

Amanda Slugoski, has her Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology with a concentration in Equine-Assisted Mental Health. In addition to doing equine-assisted corporate development work for over five years, she is also a Registered Psychologist within the province of Alberta. She is the founder of Equinox Therapeutic and Consulting Services, which provides psychotherapy services in Edmonton, Alberta, and also has co-founded Arivaca Nature School (ANS), located in Arizona. ANS is a residential treatment centre that utilizes animal and nature-assisted therapeutic programming to support adults with developmental disabilities.

Additionally, Amanda is a dedicated horseperson who has ridden and loved horses all her life. She has trained horses professionally and taught riding instruction for the last fifteen years, both in Canada and in the United States. She has twice represented Canada in international show jumping and dressage competitions. Along with riding her own horses and teaching, she currently is a Pony Club examiner and a horse show judge.

Through her equine-assisted work, Amanda has been able to combine her two greatest passions: horses and people!

Billy Benjamin

Billy Benjamin has worked in the oilfield industry for 14 years, and in upper management for nearly a decade. He brings a wealth of personal experience in creating a smooth work dynamic, and understands just how much of a difference having a strong and effective team makes. Aside from his unique sense of humour, Billy’s greatest strength is his understanding of corporations from the inside out.
